Thursday, November 17 from 2:00-3:00pm ET for our next NYSS Champions partner webinar. NYSS Champions partner webinars include presentations, small breakout group discussions, and opportunities to share partner updates. For the November webinar, we are pleased to be joined by Ben Sherwood, CEO of the youth sports technology platform MOJO, to discuss how the power of fun, coupled with technology, can grow youth sports programming and keep kids and families returning season after season. We’re seeking feedback on a resource we’ve been developing to help you in your efforts to connect and collaborate with other NYSS Champions. This document contains a draft resource, additional information, and instructions on how to provide feedback. Review of the attached draft should take no more than 10 minutes. Any feedback should be emailed to emma.alitz@hhs.gov by Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Dawn DeVries, ATRA's Director of Advocacy & Legislative Affairs presented at Social Prescribing USA's Community of Practice meeting. Dawn shared how as a profession, recreational therapists utilize elements and aspects of social prescribing with various groups of people with disabilities and various conditions, using different interventions from nature, coping, and arts.
